Privacy Policy

What we collect
Email address — provided when you purchase a license or create an account. Used for account authentication (magic links), purchase receipts, and important product updates.
Payment information — collected and processed entirely by Stripe. sitemd never receives or stores your card number, expiration date, or CVC. We receive only a payment confirmation and your email address from Stripe.
License and site slot data — which domains are assigned to your site slots, stored in our API backend to manage your license.
Basic request logs — standard HTTP data (IP address, user agent, timestamp) processed by Cloudflare as part of hosting the sitemd.cc website and API. These are not used for tracking or analytics by sitemd.
What we do not collect
sitemd runs entirely on your local machine. We do not have access to your site content, source files, or build output. We do not track your usage of the sitemd CLI or build tool. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking on sitemd.cc. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
How we use your information
- To process your purchase and deliver your license
- To authenticate you via magic link emails
- To send purchase receipts
- To provide customer support when you contact us
We do not send marketing emails. Communications are limited to transactional messages (receipts, magic links) and essential account notifications.
Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate sitemd.cc. Each receives only the minimum data necessary:
Stripe — payment processing. Receives your email address and payment details when you make a purchase. Stripe Privacy Policy.
Resend — transactional email delivery. Receives your email address to deliver magic links and purchase receipts. Resend Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare — hosts the sitemd.cc website and API backend. Processes standard HTTP request data. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Data retention
Your account data (email address, license information, site slot assignments) is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@sitemd.cc.
Data security
All connections to sitemd.cc and the API are encrypted via HTTPS. Account authentication uses time-limited magic links — no passwords are stored. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@sitemd.cc. We will respond within 30 days.
Children's privacy
sitemd is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
